BIOGRAPHY
Singer-songwriter Jon Humphreys grew up in the Arkansas River Valley, and returns frequently to those images in his songwrting: whether it be outlaws returned to Judge Parker's Gallows or an ambitious young man leaving his home in Crawford County for a dream of prosperity in Shafter, TX.
Musically, Jon draws inspiration from the creators and innovators of American music, including Hank Williams Sr., Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles, and Frank Sinatra, to name a few.
Jimi Gunn, St. Louis producer and engineer of Jon’s forthcoming album, “More,” stated, “What a relief engineering an album with such great original songs.”
Established Arkansas musician, Brandon White, has said of Jon, “He is everything I want to hear in a songwriter... Well crafted lyrics, beautiful melodies and a voice that brings it all together in a way that's never left me disappointed.”
